My Review

Disney have knocked it out of the park with this highly anticipated sequel, capturing the same essence that made the first instalment so special, meanwhile adding a completely new dynamic to Hopps and Wilde’s relationship. The world of Zootopia is incredibly fun and captivating, topped with amazing pop culture references for us to enjoy along the way! The thing is, it still has so much potential for future projects too and I find myself desperate for more already!

It really is no surprise that the opening weekend box office earnings have surpassed $500m, it has mass appeal to audiences of all ages. Jared Bush and Byron Howard really know how to tow the line between comedy and drama, all in pursuit of developing its lead characters even further, giving them a depth and complexity that most audiences can find incredibly relatable. Definitely a must see this weekend!
