My Review

Send Help boasts a talented leading pair in Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien, their wonderful chemistry gels the film together and creates a brutally entertaining Horror comedy that had the entire cinema screening laughing and gasping in equal measure! You then throw in some trademark Raimi editing and it’s a great recipe for a real fun film! Yes, the plot points are predictable, you expect every ‘twist’ that is thrown your way but it doesn’t necessarily hinder its enjoyability. Rather it builds anticipation as you eagerly wait for the penny to drop and the chaos to ensue. The CGI and visual effects were pretty poor at times, which you can forgive considering it’s relatively low budget, for Hollywood standards anyway. But I can’t help but think there were more creative ways to show the plane crash that would have avoided CGI in the first place. Regardless, it’s still a fun film and I’d definitely recommend!
